La Pine Frontier Days –  July 1, 2, 3, 4, 2021

An Annual 4th of July Celebration, and a long-time tradition of the La Pine community. This event is a result of the tremendous and generous efforts of a large number of volunteers and businesses in the greater La Pine area.

It is La Pine’s largest event and celebrates our heritage and unique character. It represents the coming together of the community in a celebration of all the things that we as Americans stand for.

We hope you and your families will join us as we rededicate ourselves to the principles that make us all proud to be neighbors, members of greater La Pine and Americans.

La Pine Rodeo & Bull Riding Event

The heritage of Rodeo grew in small towns with ranchers trying to out do each other with their favorite horse, and Rodeo is still alive today because of it. La Pine Rodeo is growing bigger and better each year with more people coming to watch the cowboys try their hand at winning the prize. Each and every event began with a function that the cowboys used on the ranches and holding onto the history that shaped our Country is so very important.

2021 will bring the always popular Bull Riding Event, Bucking for Hope on Friday, July 2nd.  The La Pine Rodeo will be on July 3rd and 4th.  For more information and tickets.http://www.lapinerodeo.com

Coop and Garden Tour

Held every August, the La Pine Coop Garden Tour benefits the Little Deschutes Grange, Newberry Habitat ReStore and the La Pine Community Kitchen through the sale of $10 Tour Books. We believe that creating an event such as this is in keeping with the Grange intention of supporting the rural community, local economies, animal husbandry, and fresh, wholesome localized vegetable gardens. We have found that making it fun and entertaining has led to its success. We are grateful to our hosts and to the people who take the tour ! It is a pleasure to meet our neighbors, take a peak at what they are doing, and exchange ideas along the way.

Join us to share in this celebration of our rural and small town life.
