Chamber Mission
The mission of the La Pine Chamber of Commerce is to be the connecting force in the community, promoting commerce and tourism, making La Pine a prosperous and vibrant community to live, work and play!
Community Leadership
Your Chamber representatives are community advocates. We participate in the areas of community planning, economic development, government interaction and land use. As leaders we have been instrumental in facilitating the formation of an Urban Renewal District, the hiring of a full-time SLED Rep (Sunriver La Pine Economic Development), as well as direct involvement with bringing film projects to the area and working with the Central Oregon Film Office and “Visit Central Oregon”.
Useful Information Circulated Regularly
Throughout the year we keep members, the media, our elected representatives, sister chambers, regional visitor centers, and the public informed about Chamber business and happenings in La Pine and the surrounding communities. E-Blasts, press releases and calendar notices are a standard part of our electronic communications. Our growing list of opted-in contacts stands at over 600.
Support From a Dedicated Team
A nine member, all-volunteer Board of Directors guides the direction of the Chamber. Our Executive Director, staff, and volunteers are accomplished professionals that run the day-to-day operations of the Chamber and assist members, residents and visitors with their questions, ideas and concerns. The Visitor Center’s friendly, informed volunteers are ambassadors who represent our town and your businesses by skillfully fielding questions and directing tourists to members.
Advertise in the Visitor’s Guide
Our newest visitor’s guide showcases all that Newberry Country has to offer in a colorful annual booklet. Your business membership makes you eligible to advertise in this well received publication, invaluable to visitors and locals alike. We distribute 10,000 copies and make it web accessible to many thousands more.
Promotion on our Content-Rich Website
We recognize that the Internet is a global marketplace. The way we show up there tells the world about our community. Thousands of people visited us on the web last year. We are proud of our content-rich and easy to use website that displays member information, tourism information & links, monthly newsletters, Chamber Connection articles and more! Visit us at www.lapine.org.
Advertise on the La Pine Map
This colorful & large, durable foldout map shows the boundaries of the City of La Pine as well as the surrounding areas. Included is a map of the Cascades Lake Highway and a map of the Oregon Outback to the East. Over 7,000 copies are distributed and updated annually.
